This was the very first collection I made when I decided to pursue art full time, and it signifies such a pivotal emotional time in my life.

I was used to doing everything “perfectly” - from my career to avoiding freestyling dancing to painting as realistically as possible. It was such a constraining way to live my life, constantly hyperfixating on mistakes and imperfections.

With my decision to leave my “safe” career of mechanical engineering to pursue art came the acceptance of coloring “outside the lines” in my art work. I didn’t need to get all the colors and shading and proportions right. I could be bold and expressive and loose and free.

I want others to experience that same radical self-acceptance - so I live my life and run my business by these concepts. And I’ve been super happy since! ^_^
